Your participation in the HOPE 5K Run, shows support and gratitude for all SGA does for you.
We are asking each student to raise at least $200 in sponsorships for this event. This will help you and others "pursue education".
By participating in SGA's 5K Run in April, you have committed not simply to take what is offered, but to give back by raising money for your school. You are not asking anyone to do what you yourself are unwilling to do. You are unselfishly committing to setting the standard for others to follow, and you show that in giving, you are really the one who will receive the blessing.
The members of San Gabriel Academy's student body are stepping up to support their school in the quest to continue serving others, growing in Christ, and aspiring to excellence. They have demonstrated that the practice of giving is more important than the size of their gifts. What is a practice they begin today will help to change the lives of future generations. They know that there are students just like them who are waiting to experience what they have experienced – a Christ-centered education inside and outside of the classroom on a campus where all students are recognized as the family of San Gabriel Academy and the very special children of God.
